As a Security Officer - Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

Excellent customer service is always your top priority Complete full building and grounds patrols to spot and investigate concerns Draft reports of property damage, theft, accidents, and unusual occurrences to document daily activities and irregularities Check identification of people entering and exiting the facility to eliminate unauthorized visitors Secure company goods against robbery, vandalism, and illegal entry Working in a giant fulfillment center and surrounding areas to include parking lot and trailer yard. Entry/Exit screening in the lobby and roving patrols. Monitor and man the Security/Front Desk Give directions to guests Use of a computer visitor management system. Printing and disseminating of badges. Controlling access and ensuring only authorized personnel are given access into the site. Camera and alarm surveillance. Walking in and around building, up and down stairs and through parking lots. Advanced customer service skills. Proficiency with computers and smart phone technology. Assist Operations Management in Emergencies and contact police when situation warrants.

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better! You have a state license if required
