The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

This position does not require weekend or holiday call.

The Surgical Technologist (ST)
is responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Required qualifications:

Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualification:

6 months Experience in a hospital operating room.
