Beloit Memorial Hospital is hiring a Surgical First Assistant for our Surgical Services Department.
######
In this position the Surgical First Assistant will ensure proper preparation of patients for Surgical procedures. The Surgical First Assistant will monitor patient status and vitals, assist with positioning, prepping and charting of patient procedures. In this position you will also assist with administration of pre and post procedural medications as ordered. Assist surgeon as directed and complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Graduate of Surgical Assistant program or comparable program.
######Surgical Assistant Certification is preferred, required to become Certified Surgical Assistant within 2 years.
######Prior experience as Surgical Tech and Surgical Assistant
######Call is required
