Requirements

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred. Previous experience in endoscopy or related clinical setting preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) Surgical Assistant to work 4-5 days per week (Monday- Friday) in our Surgery Department. Hours are between 7am-5pm.

Job Summary

The Surgical Assistant supports the surgical team by maintaining a sterile environment and assisting surgeons during operative procedures. Responsibilities include handling instruments properly, holding retractors, maintaining exposure of the operative field, and ensuring adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards.
