Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our surgical team.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available

- Assist surgeon during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies

- Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure to minimize the risk of infection

- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning

- Must be BLS certified, if you are not, certification can be provided through the office

- Document medical information accurately and maintain patient records

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

- Provide support to the surgical team as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a surgical or dental setting is preferred, but not required

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Note: X-Ray certification or experience as a Dental Receptionist is a bonus
