Job Description

OSMC is growing its team, and we are seeking a Surgery Scheduler RN for our growing Elkhart office. The responsibility of this role under the supervision of and in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services, is responsible to scheduling surgeries and appointments, or delegating those tasks at area surgery facilities, utilizing requests from physicians, nurses, other office personnel or patients, according to established policies/guidelines. Participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership in coordination with other team members in providing the highest quality care. This role will work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Computer programs required to utilize are NextGen, Case Coordination, Outlook, HST Management, Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams. This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent as well as graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
