We are currently seeking a

Supported Employment Specialist

to join our team. This position plays a key role in helping individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain meaningful employment within their communities.

Responsibilities:

Provide person-centered employment supports for DDS-funded individuals. Develop individualized employment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and case managers. Assist clients in identifying strengths, job interests, and potential employers. Support clients in job readiness training, resume building, interview preparation, and workplace skills. Provide on-the-job coaching and follow-up support to ensure success and job retention. Maintain detailed progress notes, timesheets, and documentation in compliance with DDS and agency requirements. Collaborate with community businesses, vocational programs, and support networks to expand employment opportunities.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior experience in

Supported Employment, Job Coaching, or Vocational Support

required. Knowledge of DDS programs, Person-Centered Planning, and community integration practices. Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills. Valid Connecticut driver's license and reliable transportation. Must pass background, OIG, and reference checks.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
