Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Floater to join our educational team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and a strong background in various educational methodologies, including Montessori and tutoring. As a Floater, you will provide support across multiple classrooms, assisting teachers and students in their learning journey. This role is crucial in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment while ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.

Responsibilities

Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson implementation and classroom management. Engage with students to promote literacy education and math skills through interactive activities. Implement behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and conducive learning atmosphere. Assist in standardized testing preparation and administration as needed. Provide individualized support to students requiring early intervention or additional tutoring. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring all materials are readily available for use. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment that supports childhood development.

Experience

Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly in private schools or Montessori environments, is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures is highly desirable. Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and students.
