Job Description

Cleans parts and applies various types of masking to prevent unpermitted blast, peen, spray, lube, or paint overspray.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

:

Masks hardware with various types of masking to prevent overspray.
Cleans the part to ensure the part is clean enough to allow masking and coatings to adhere or to allow effective peening of substrates.
As applicable, uses tools to deburr the part prior to masking to allow complete coverage of coating and prevent delamination.

Inspects the part to verify all characteristics for which he/she is responsible before signing the router and forwarding to subsequent operations.

Education & Experience

:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

No experience necessary. Training will be provided.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR and export control procedures.
