Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including home care, assisted living, and group homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' health status while adhering to care plans. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring proper hygiene practices. Support individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's through tailored care approaches. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies and address any concerns. Foster a respectful and empathetic relationship with clients while promoting their independence and dignity.

Qualifications

Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or social work is preferred. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and HIPAA regulations to ensure client safety and confidentiality. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in memory care settings is highly desirable. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and the ability to recognize changes in behavior or health conditions. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, including the use of assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through caregiving. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to accommodate client schedules.
