Required Skill:

Bachelor's with expertise in production planning, import planning, & operations, master scheduling and optimizing distribution processes. Knowledge of supply chain management principles & practices with strong working knowledge of SAP.

Shift timing: M - F; 8:00 AM - 4:30PM; Lunch Time: 30 Minutes

Qualifications:

We need a self-starter with production planning, import planning and operational background who will take a lead role in supporting our growth strategy. This is a high visibility position where leadership skills combined with excellent teamwork and communication are essential. Education:

BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is required. MBA and/or master's degree in operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Experience:

Master scheduling, distribution planning, SAP a must. Experience in a seeds planning supply chain environment preferred. Working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent) system required. Expert level analytical skills, along with a thorough knowledge of current Supply Chain Management concepts required (Excel expert level with queries, pivot tables, etc...). Experienced working effectively at corporate levels in and across a functional environment and in a globally managed complex business environment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Lead regional and global level supply chain optimization within the Americas region. S&OP efforts within the Vegetable Seeds portfolio of products. Collaborate across all regions (NAFTA, Europe and Asia) and cross-functionally (Marketing, Supply Chain, etc...) and develop plans to optimize CLIENT performance globally. Develops and executes production and purchase plans in support of inventory targets, customer service goals and manufacturing efficiencies for imported materials. Meets inventory targets based on the financial cash flow and reliability service objectives of the business group. Recommends and pursues appropriate disposition of returned, damaged, aged and off-spec inventory with marketing or plant personnel as required. Monitors sales forecasts vs. actual sales and inventory levels for deviation from plan initiatives and develops corrective action. Defines and participates in projects targeted to specific opportunities in Supply Chain Management. Spearhead efforts to further customer relationships by collaborating and optimizing with key stakeholders in marketing and sales.
