Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and manage all purchasing and supply chain functions, including supplier sourcing, procurement, requisitions, and shipment expediting.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure 100% on-time delivery.
Direct and coordinate global supply chain activities while monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams--including Sales, Engineering, Production, and Logistics--to optimize material flow, inventory levels, and distribution solutions.
Analyze inventory, sales, and market trends to forecast material needs and support long-term production planning.
Qualify and develop new suppliers, assess performance, and resolve quality, production, or delivery issues.
Manage and mentor supply chain personnel, including training, performance feedback, and professional development.
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records, ensuring database integrity and compliance with company policies.
Proactively recommend improvements to processes, systems, and practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Experience in aluminum and electrical supply chains preferred.
CPM and/or Six Sigma certification highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with MRP systems and automated inventory management.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate inventory, sales, and procurement data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Detail-oriented, organized, and highly professional.
