POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a position that will assist with all Surveillance Department needs for the Plaza in a Supervisor capacity. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all PlayLV\xe2\x80\x99s Company standards, policies, procedures, and Gaming Control Regulations. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Provide support to the Director of Surveillance by coordinating and overseeing daily operations, developing, and implementing plans and goals for the department, and assisting with creating reports for Executive review.
  • Provide technical support to the Director of Surveillance in matters related to surveillance, including but not limited to monitoring and maintaining surveillance equipment, assisting in casino camera projects, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Provide coverage for Agents who are on vacation or taking time off by performing their duties and responsibilities to ensure that operations continue smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Surveillance to develop and implement training programs for new hires and existing team members to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Conduct reviews and special observations with the goal of improving Agent\'s performance and freeing up their time to focus on other tasks.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for Agents to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to use all software utilized in the Surveillance Department effectively.
  • Regularly review and analyze surveillance data to identify patterns and trends that may indicate areas of concern.
  • Report any concerns or issues identified during the review process to the Director of Surveillance in a timely and professional manner.

The incumbent is expected to perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department. Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with the installation and maintenance of Closed-Circuit Television systems, including but not limited to Pan and tilt motorized mechanisms, video cameras, terminating of lines (BNC, RJ-45), ability to operate a voltmeter, ability to program; (digital cameras, encoders, clients, network switches with proper IP and sub schemes). Ability to operate digital surveillance systems, reviewing, archiving, photo-generating and exporting onto storage devices and/or uploading to secure sites for authorities. Ability to operate a new age telephone system, answering and transferring calls professionally as well as retrieving voicemails. Ability to operate a CB radio professionally and work in close proximity to others and at times in confined spaces.
  • Adhere to the Plaza\xe2\x80\x99s Confidentiality Policy.
  • Ability to acquire a Certification to operate a scissor-lift to reach high sections.
  • Adhere to the Plaza\xe2\x80\x99s Confidentiality Policy.
  • Possess, at a minimum, a general working knowledge of live action games offered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Gaming Control Board License.
Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements for working in locations more than four feet off the ground.
  • Ability to troubleshoot CCTV equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of Nevada Gaming Regulations.
