Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Under the direction of the department manager, the Produce Processing Center (PPC) Supervisor is responsible for all department activities, including but not limited to, the ordering and processing of materials, management of personnel, and oversight of supplies and systems, to fulfill all daily production orders, in a timely manner. The PPC Supervisor ensures the department is operating effectively to support business plan objectives and is compliant with all the Company's safety and cleanliness standards. The PPC Production Supervisor is also required to fully support all food safety initiatives including, but not limited to, Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMPs.)

Skills/Knowledge

Must possess basic computational ability. Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email functions. Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions. Supports the Company's philosophy of innovation and change management by contributing to process improvements. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to details. Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the Assistant Production Manager acting as a team leader. Must be well-organized and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work flexible hours.

Education

High school diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

Minimum of five years experience in a production facility. Two years experience in supervisory role, in a manufacturing facility. Knowledge of food safety requirements highly desired.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
