Supervisor

NAMI Southeast Louisiana is hiring a supervisor for our One Stop Center, which provides resources and supports in a drop in setting to persons who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

About you:

You see the potential in others and find it rewarding to support persons with mental illness or substance usage, assisting them with finding the resources and natural supports that will allow them to reach their goals and feel part of their community. You recognize that each individual has their own unique strengths, abilities, needs and preferences. You believe in the Housing First Model for addressing homelessness that prioritizes access to permanent, stable housing, linked with voluntary services as needed. You recognize that each individual has their own unique strengths, abilities, needs and preferences. You have strong organizational skills, can assess and solve problems, and feel comfortable supervising a team.

Core duties and responsibilities:

Duties include the daily management and operational aspects of the One Stop program, hiring and supervision of staff, data collection and monthly reporting to funders, regular QA of files to ensure service deliverables, preparation of files for quarterly monitoring and submission of post-monitoring plans of correction to JPHSA, and attendance at monthly management meetings.

Education required:

Master's in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation, Criminal Justice, or other human service field. Master's in Counseling or Social Work is preferred. Experience working with individuals who are mentally ill or homeless is required.

Salary: $52,000 - $56,000
