We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of store management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business objectives.
Duties
Lead and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to foster a productive work environment.
Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize store presentation.
Handle payroll, cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions accurately.
Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to build a skilled team.
Monitor sales performance, manage pricing strategies, and implement marketing initiatives.
Oversee purchasing decisions and manage store budgets effectively.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Coordinate shift management duties to ensure smooth store operations during scheduled hours.
Maintain organizational records including bookkeeping and administrative documentation.
Utilize strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
Qualifications
Proven supervising or management experience in retail or similar environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and store operations.
Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping.
Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Experience in employee recruitment, training & development, and performance management.
Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, pricing, and sales management.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently with excellent time management skills.
Demonstrated ability in customer service excellence and phone etiquette.
Organizational skills necessary for shift management, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
