Duties

Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of customer service Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and oversee shift management to optimize productivity Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, payroll records, bookkeeping tasks, and store financials Utilize POS systems for transactions, sales management, and reporting to support store performance Coordinate purchasing decisions and manage supplier relationships to ensure product availability Implement marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and increase foot traffic Monitor store safety protocols, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with company standards

Requirements

Proven supervisory or management experience in retail or grocery environments with strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative atmosphere Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and cash handling procedures Knowledge of inventory management systems (POS software), bookkeeping, payroll processing, and purchasing processes Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Experience in employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance management Familiarity with retail sales techniques including merchandising, stocking, marketing campaigns, and store presentation Ability to handle administrative responsibilities such as budgeting, record-keeping, and shift scheduling A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.26 - $20.75 per hour
