Job Summary:

The Landscaping Supervisor oversees daily operations of landscape maintenance crews, ensuring that groundskeeping work on commercial properties meets appearance and safety standards. This role includes hands-on work, supervision, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and supervise groundskeepers and lawn care technicians. Schedule and assign daily landscaping tasks across properties. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers). Ensure proper care of turf, trees, shrubs, and seasonal plantings. Monitor irrigation systems and coordinate repairs as needed. Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control in compliance with regulations. Train new crew members on safety procedures and landscaping standards. Maintain supply inventory and submit equipment repair requests.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; landscape management certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in commercial landscaping, with leadership experience preferred. Working knowledge of horticulture and irrigation systems. Valid driver's license; pesticide applicator license.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate heavy landscaping equipment, and work in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
