The Schuylkill Valley School District Board of Directors is actively seeking a dynamic individual with integrity, visionary leadership, exceptional communication skills, and outstanding business and administrative abilities to lead a district serving over 2,127 students with a budget of $49,771,295 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Board is searching for a candidate who provides visionary leadership in alignment with the District's mission, "to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each student is challenged to think critically, problem-solve, create, and communicate. The successful candidate will oversee the effective management of district resources, including financial, human, and technological assets. The district is seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of fostering a culture of academic excellence and student success through innovative instructional practices and effective curriculum development.

Key Qualifications:

+ Experience in achieving high academic performance
+ Experience in making sound school finance decisions
+ Outstanding business and administrative abilities
+ Proven oversight of capital improvement projects and grant programs
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong leadership ability
+ Experience with the development and implementation of curriculum
+ Knowledge of educational and technological best practices
+ Ensure accountability at all levels of the organization, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment for staff and students
+ Experience in actively engaging with the community to promote positive relationships and partnerships that enhance student learning and well-being

Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements:

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in education
+ Building administrative or central office experience
+ Doctorate, preferred
+ PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility



A competitive benefits package and a salary range of $175,000-$205,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
