Job Description
A Construction Superintendent manages daily on-site operations, acting as the general contractor's field leader to ensure projects are built safely, on time, within budget, and to quality specifications by coordinating subcontractors, managing materials/equipment, enforcing safety protocols (like OSHA), and overseeing daily work progress. Key duties include scheduling, quality control, safety oversight, subcontractor management, budget monitoring, and daily reporting, bridging communication between the field and management/clients. Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight:
Manage daily site activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and timelines.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict safety policies (OSHA), conduct safety checks, and maintain a safe work environment.Scheduling:
Develop and manage short-term and master schedules, coordinating crews and material deliveries to avoid delays.Subcontractor Management:
Direct, coordinate, and monitor work of various trade subcontractors.Quality Control:
Perform inspections and ensure work meets required quality standards and design documents.Resource Management:
Oversee equipment, materials, and labor, managing costs and logistics.Reporting:
Maintain daily logs, RFIs (Requests for Information), and report progress, issues, and solutions to project managers.Essential Skills & Qualifications
Extensive construction experience and technical knowledge. Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills. Ability to problem-solve analytically and act resourcefully. Familiarity with productivity software and construction management tools. Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA).

Pay: $90,867.69 - $115,000.00 per year
