sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Purpose of the Role

At Worley, we are delivering a more sustainable world by transforming how energy, chemicals, and resources projects are

executed. The Heavy Equipment Superintendent provides leadership and direction for a large group of trade personnel

on a construction site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. This role is responsible for workforce

planning, workface coordination, and supervision, while promoting HSE compliance, trade training, and productivity. The

Senior Trade Supervisor ensures that construction activities align with project objectives, cost targets, and Worley's

sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and direct trade personnel, including forepeople, to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance

with project standards and specifications.

Plan, schedule, and allocate workforce resources to maintain balance across construction activities and meet project

timelines.

Coordinate workface planning to optimize productivity, minimize downtime, and ensure seamless integration with other

trades and disciplines.

Monitor and evaluate manpower requirements, crew efficiency, and productivity, implementing adjustments as needed. Ensure proper training, mentorship, and development of apprentices and junior trade staff, fostering a skilled and

competent workforce.

Oversee quality control activities, ensuring that work meets design specifications, codes, and company standards. Monitor costs and resource utilization to support project budgets and financial objectives. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of proactive risk management. Communicate effectively with construction management, supervisors, and trade teams, resolving conflicts and influencing

outcomes to achieve project goals.

Support the development and implementation of construction systems, processes, and tools, providing guidance and

troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications / Skillset

Extensive experience in construction trades, typically 12+ years, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory

experience on large construction projects.

Journey-level certification or equivalent qualification in relevant trade, where applicable. Strong knowledge of construction methods, trade practices, and site operations. Proven ability to plan, schedule, and allocate manpower effectively to meet project objectives. Experience in workface planning, crew coordination, and productivity monitoring. Demonstrated ability to mentor and train apprentices and junior trades personnel. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and ability to enforce compliance on site. Competence in monitoring costs, resource utilization, and quality control processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and resolve conflict among

diverse teams.

Advanced understanding of construction systems, processes, and digital tools; capable of troubleshooting and assisting

others in their application.

Commitment to sustainability, teamwork, and continuous improvement in line with Worley's values and purpose.
