General Superintendent - Masonry & Historic Restoration Projects
Location: Nashville, TN & Greater Tennessee Region
The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is seeking an experienced and highly capable
General Superintendent
with a strong background in masonry--including sandstone, limestone, granite, and marble--to oversee and manage both large and small-scale restoration projects in Nashville and throughout Tennessee. This leadership role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across all TTG operations in the region.
TTG is a 100% employee-owned, nationally recognized construction firm specializing in the restoration and rehabilitation of historically significant buildings. With regional offices across the Midwest, East Coast, and South, TTG self-performs a wide range of trades including masonry restoration, roofing, architectural metals, carpentry, and painting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage crews across multiple job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project delivery
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Oversee all aspects of project execution including scheduling, scope, budget, and compliance
Ensure adherence to company safety protocols and risk management standards
Interpret and execute project drawings, specifications, and budgets provided by Project Managers
Coordinate scaffold systems and logistics, particularly in downtown and urban environments
Support load-outs, demobilization, and asset tracking across job sites
Uphold TTG's values and culture in all aspects of leadership and communication
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of masonry experience (historic masonry preferred)
Proven leadership and crew management experience
Strong communication and professionalism in daily interactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Office365) and Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with swing stage and universal scaffold systems
OSHA 30 certification required
Ability to pass a Department of Homeland Security background check
Willingness to work overtime as needed
