Job Description

This position requires a Traveling Superintendent with expertise in metal building construction to oversee several light industrial warehouses for a repeat client. Projects are around $4.5M and around 10k sq. ft. in size and located across the SE US. First project would be in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate is based in GA as once these project wrap they will continue to work locally to the Atlanta metro.

• Supervise and manage the construction of metal building projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor project progress and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, codes, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
• Travel frequently to project sites across the United States as required.

A successful Traveling Superintendent - Metal Building should have:

• A solid understanding of metal building construction and processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations.

Our GC client was established in 2012 and is currently just under 30 person headcount. Their are heavily focus in the Atlanta metro but are licensed to work across all states in the SE US. • Benefits package:

• Base Salary: $110k-$130k
• Pay for housing, $60/day
• Vehicle $500-600 monthly + Gas Card
• 401k + 3% safe harbor but may change
• Company 100% Paid Health Insurance
• Bonus (6% - 10% of salary)
