Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial will oversee all on?site operations for mixed commercial and large commercial construction projects, ensuring craftsmanship, safety, and quality at every stage.   • Lead all day?to?day field operations on mixed commercial and large commercial projects.
  • Maintain full on?site authority to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Enforce project schedules, productivity goals, and quality expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain compliance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and industry regulations.
  • Manage daily reports, site documentation, and communication with leadership teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, crews, inspectors, and trade partners.

A successful Superintendent - Large Commercial Construction should have:
  • Extensive experience overseeing commercial or large?scale construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate field teams and maintain positive jobsite culture.
  • Excellent communication abilities with clients, trades, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Deep understanding of commercial construction processes, phasing, and best practices.
  • Strong problem?solving skills with the ability to make fast, effective decisions on?site.
  • Proficiency in construction management tools and jobsite technology.
  • A track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and with exceptional quality.
