Responsibilities:
Travel to job sites on a weekly basis to inspect and enforce installation procedures and quality controls
Conduct skills assessments to identify training needs across the superintendent group.
Conduct daily coordination meetings with Superintendents and provide technical assistance and problem-solving support as needed
Deliver field-based and virtual training sessions
Perform premobilization site visits, walking jobs to determine field labor requirements to help develop construction schedule & manpower needs with the Project Manager and General Superintendent
Provide one-on-one coaching to superintendents to strengthen leadership, communication, and technical skills
Support superintendents in areas such as project planning, scheduling, quality control, and team management
Partner with general superintendents, project managers, and operations leadership to address performance gaps
Conduct field visits to evaluate superintendent effectiveness and provide real-time training and feedback
Ensure superintendents follow company processes, safety protocols, and construction best practices
Identify process improvement opportunities within field operations and assist in implementation
Standardize expectations for superintendent performance, communication, and documentation
Help drive consistency across job sites and support the rollout of new tools or technologies
Build and manage a development pathway for future superintendents and field leaders.
Assist in identifying high-potential candidates and preparing them for advancement.
Coordinate mentoring programs and peer-learning initiatives
Track training metrics, certifications, and superintendent progress
Provide regular status reports and recommendations to leadership
Manage development pathways for Lead Hands, fitters & welders and future superintendents.
Serve as a liaison between field teams and leadership regarding training needs and progress.
Attend all project kick off meetings
Help the Project Manager and Sr. General Superintendent with the labor tracking set up
Assist Project Managers with the development of equipment pick plans and site safety requirements when crane work is required
Work with PMs and superintendents to verify current project documentation (drawings, revised specifications, RFI responses, change orders, revised submittals and cut sheets) are readily available at all jobsites
Ensure Superintendents are maintaining accurate record keeping for all field documentation
* Ensure Superintendents complete daily reports with progress pictures and submit them each day
