The Superintendent - Commercial Projects $25M+ - Baltimore will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities and ensure the quality control of all subcontractors.
  • Coordinate field efforts among various trades to ensure timely and profitable project completion, strictly adhering to contract documents, specifications, laws, and safety regulations.
  • Efficiently communicate project-related information to higher-ups.
  • Participate in weekly subcontractor and owner/architect meetings.
  • Monitor and enforce site safety protocols.
  • Keep track of workforce and prepare daily reports.
  • Assist in maintaining quality control standards.
  • Support field office document control procedures.
  • Collaborate in creating look-ahead schedules.
  • Monitor and track site deliveries.
  • Thoroughly verify that all materials, equipment, and installations comply with approved submittals and contract specifications.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule, reflecting project status changes while meeting time and budget constraints.

The Superintendent - Commercial Projects $25M+ - Baltimore will have:
  • Fundamental proficiency in using databases is expected, and the ability to read drawings and coordinate the work of all functions is essential.
  • A Bachelor\'s degree is required, with a preference for degrees in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.
  • Proficiency in software like Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools is necessary.
  • Preferred certifications with OSHA demonstrate a commitment to safety practices.
  • Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost principles is essential for effective project management.
  • Basic familiarity with Prolog Software, or similar systems, is beneficial.
