Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Full-time Superintendent to oversee our commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial roofing, particularly with TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) systems, and possess strong leadership and project management skills. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful completion of roofing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects from start to finish Coordinate and supervise roofing crews, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and identify potential issues Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other team members to ensure project success Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety records Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly and efficiently Implement and oversee quality assurance and quality control processes Stay up-to-date with the latest roofing technologies, materials, and installation techniques Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Requirements

3-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial roofing projects Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, with a focus on TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roofing Strong understanding of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial roofing projects Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software * Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job
