SUMMER STORE STAFF

Reports to:

The Store Manager for store job responsibilities and tasks and to the Program Director

for other staff involvement

Qualifications:

1. At least 18 years of age

2. Commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

3. Minimum one year Camp Geneva staff experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

The staff of the GENEVA store is responsible for running/operating the store at GENEVA Shores and at GENEVA Pines, and for assisting with the collection and processing of lost and found items.

Specific tasks include the following:

1. Understand the cash register operation and Debit-card system

2. Staff the store during open hours.

3. Stock and prepare inventory prior to opening store.

4. Complete and record anaccurate weekly stock inventory.

5. Order ice cream, candy, and purchase other items from Sam's Club.

6. Organize money in the cash registers and bring to the office for deposit .

7. Collect pop machine money and coordinate with maintenance when filling them.

8. Keep store and storage areas clean and organized

9. Take primary responsibility for lost and found items.

10. Distribute theme t-shirts

Additional Staff Responsibilities:

1. Attend all meetings as required of staff (orientation, daily, weekly, staff retreat)

2. Work to create a positive spiritual atmosphere throughout camp

3. Assist other program staff in carrying out the weekly program as able and needed.

4. Be aware of camper behavior throughout camp, confronting negative acts when needed and encouraging positive involvement

5. Report all equipment needs or damages and all maintenance requests to the site coordinator

6. Function as a full member of the summer staff, participating in activities, building relationships, and carrying out the ministry of GENEVA throughout the summer

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per month
