VACANCY

: The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a Summer School Driver Education Coordinator position for the 2026 summer school term.

JOB SUMMARY

: The Summer School Driver Education Coordinator will coordinate the summer driver education program in both Programs A and B. The coordinator's duties include the hiring of teachers, driver training car set-up, scheduling of BTW, simulation and classroom instruction; coordination of applications for permit; entering data for the IWAS; and ensuring all information required for grade reporting and the Illinois Secretary of State information is collected and entered.

DATES:

June 1, 2026 - June 26, 2026 - No Class on June 19th

QUALIFICATIONS

:
+ Applicants must hold appropriate State of Illinois Teaching Licensure with Driver Education Endorsement
+ Successful high school teaching experience preferred
+ Applicants must possess effective management skills
+ Applicants must be available for the full summer term (i.e., under no other contractual obligation during this time period)

PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE:

Pay:+ Stipend - $3,500 (Stipend amount will be adjusted if the chosen candidate also teaches in the driver education program.)
