Job Description

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:

TATRO is a full service commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing and HVAC contractor. TATRO provides every service involved in the process, from estimates, design, and budgeting through the competed construction. Interns are hired to assist in current positions within TATRO. Positions include clerical work to inventory and warehouse maintenance to residential plumbers, industrial and commercial HVAC, and piping and plumbing design.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not listed in any order of priority. Duties may include the following, as well as others more specific to the intern position.





Assist foreman, project managers, technicians or other leads that are on project sites. Receive hands on experience. Use hand tools, small power tools, and other stationary machines. Learn leadership and professional etiquette to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Be responsible for helping maintain inventory on trucks, in the shop and on project sites. Learning the processes and contacts to successfully assist in projects. Receive experience in collaborating with others to create efficient and effective teams. Understanding the processes and how to be productive. Work along the side of experienced teammates to learn the different positions and their specific roles within TATRO.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment. Basic knowledge of the construction industry. Basic mathematical problem solving (adding, subtracting, and dividing). Basic computer/tablet skills, including Microsoft Office products and email services. Lawfully drive a motor vehicle and maintain a current driver s license to commute to the various current or prospective job sites in the region when needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasional lifting 50 lbs.



Able to use small hand and power tools.
