Assistant Kitchen Manger & Cook

Circle Program is looking for an Assistant Kitchen Chef for our all girls residential camp. Circle Camp is located on Spectacle Pond in Groton, NH, near Newfound Lake. The camp's population consists of 20+ staff and 27 campers. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Circle Program's mission is Empower., Transform, Enrich girls' lives. Through community, Connection, Mentorship, and Camp.

Pay scale $650.00 - $700.00 per week, varies based upon experience.

Dates of employment:

Staff orientation June 8th - June 19th, 2026

Circle Camp June 21st - August 1st, 2026

Qualifications:

Food service background with at least 1 years of cooking and kitchen assistant experience, 2 years is preferred. ServSafe Certified Proficiency in preparing large quantities of food for at least 3 meals a day Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with adults and children Ability to accommodate dietary restrictions. Prepare food production records for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 7 weeks of camp Assist with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner preparation and service Maintain a neat and organized kitchen with the highest standards of sanitation and food safety Provide the proper serving portions to meet the necessary regulations under the NH State Department of Education Summer Food Services Guidelines Maintain a clean kitchen including equipment and assist with washing and sterilizing all dishware and utensils needed for service. Comply with food storage regulations through NH State Department of Education Summer Food Service Guidelines Ability to lift 50 lbs.
