Duties
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring quality and freshness in every order
Engage with customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and providing friendly service
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas
Manage food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Assist with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, grocery store transactions, and retail math calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate weights, and working in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is beneficial but not required; we welcome motivated learners from retail or grocery store backgrounds
