: Sandwich Artist

Position Overview:

As a Sandwich Artist, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing and assembling delicious sandwiches and other menu items according to Subway's high-quality standards. You will interact with customers, take their orders, and ensure that they receive friendly and efficient service. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the store and staying on top of dishes that stack up to ensure a clean and appealing environment for customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's recipes and guidelines.

2. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and handling any inquiries or concerns.

3. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food preparation stations, countertops, and dining areas.

4. Ensure that all food products are stored, handled, and prepared safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

5. Follow Subway's standards for portion control, food quality, and presentation to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.

6. Operate cash registers, handle payments, and provide accurate change to customers.

7. Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations, including restocking ingredients, cleaning equipment, and fulfilling customer orders efficiently.

8. Stay on top of dishes that stack up and proactively maintain cleanliness throughout the store to create an appealing environment for customers.

9. Adhere to Subway's policies and procedures, including those related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.

10. Exhibit a willingness to be clean and thorough in all aspects of the job, including personal hygiene and cleaning duties.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in food service, preferably in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment, is preferred but not required.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

4. Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and perform simple calculations.

5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
