St. Ignatius Elementary School


St. Ignatius of Antioch Elementary School is seeking an experienced, qualified teacher to substitute teach during the 2025-2026 school year. Teacher must hold a valid teaching license in the State of Ohio, be Virtus trained and pass FBI and BCI background checks. Position Summary: Manage and instruct students in the classroom setting: o Adhere to curriculum and lesson plans provided by the regular teacher. o Follow instructions to achieve lesson goals. o Take attendance and record in the attendance system o Comply with all school safety practices, policies, regulations, and school/classroom rules. o Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for students. Requirements Education: o Bachelor's degree in education or related field, required. Certification: o Valid teacher or substitute teacher license required Work Experience: o Minimum of 2 years of work experience o Prior experience in a school environment is preferred
