As a Substitute Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational environment by assisting lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. What you'll do
Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities across various subjects, including literacy and math.
Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism and other disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students.
Facilitate small group activities and provide one-on-one support to enhance student understanding and engagement.
Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with teachers in curriculum development and lesson planning to meet diverse student needs.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive educational community.
Participate in training sessions focused on early childhood education, childhood development, and behavior management strategies.
Basic qualifications
