The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) invites you to consider a challenging and diverse employment opportunity with our school. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to fill a Substitute (PRN) RN or LPN position working in Salt Lake City with days in Springville and Ogden as needed.

This is a PRN position that works during the school year with an option to work during the summer.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a school nurse you will:Provide special and general nursing services for students enrolled at USDB. Provide treatment, care, and evaluation of students' medical needs. Assist with medical emergencies, perform first aid as needed, and submit incident reports. Complete documentation on time. Ride in a van with a student to and from school.

Minimum Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will possess:Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Utah. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Communicate clearly and effectively. Enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in either written or electronic form. Maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
