Qualifications:
+ Criminal background check pursuant to W. Va. Code 18-5-15c, et seq.
+ Meet the definition of "Qualifications" pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8b
+ Demonstrate competency pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8e as required
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
+ Must have at least three (3) years of driving experience as a licensed operator of any vehicle
+ Must obtain and maintain a West Virginia CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsement
+ Must successfully complete the West Virginia School Bus Safety Program and pass all requisite online and skills tests
+ Must maintain a valid CPR/First Aid certification
+ Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
+ Must pass a physical examination from a Medical Examiner as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
+ Subject to drug and alcohol screenings
+ Must meet all requirements outlined in West Virginia State Board of Education Policy 4336, available at http://wvde.state.wv.us/policies/p4336.doc
+ The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the , with or without reasonable accommodations
+ Additional Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year.

Salary: Based on the 2025-2026 salary scale.
