Ivybrook Academy

is currently seeking passionate substitute preschool educators for our school campus. Our schools provide a professional environment where educators can focus their time on igniting the joy of learning in their students. We are seeing passionate educators committed to quality education.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a proprietary curriculum

Observe and evaluate each child's progress

Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents

Maintain communication with parents

Attend staff meetings and training

Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom

Qualifications

- Experience working with students in a preschool or early childhood education setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with Montessori and Reggio Emilia curriculum concepts is a plus.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Priority given to those with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or have their education degree within the first year of employment. Previous experience at a public, private or licensed school preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
