Job Description

For this position, we are looking for an as needed substitute teacher for our center. Teacher will create lesson plans based upon curriculum and themes, create projects and activities that are developmentally appropriate for age group, or carry out lessons provided by head teacher. Responsibilities also include diapering, cleaning, reading, preparing lesson plans, activities, and projects based on weekly themes, and fostering a fun, safe environment for staff and children. Must be able to work independently and as a team. Must be able to lead classroom and encourage a comfortable and safe environment for children. Must show leadership abilities. Must be able to multitask, stay organized, and follow all state and COVID guidelines. Experience required, college credits, CDA/equivalent preferred. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL ARE ESSENTIAL TO THIS POSITION.

Hours will vary based upon the day, but may be as early as 7:30am and could be half or full day depending on the need for the day.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
