Job Description

Bridge Back to Life Center is an OASAS Licensed Outpatient Substance Abuse Program that is seeking talented Substance Abuse Counselors.

Substance Abuse Counselor candidates must have CASAC, LMSW, LCSW or LMHC. Limited permit eligible and CASAC-T is also accepted.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial assessments and screenings for substance use disorders Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients Provide individual counseling sessions Facilitate group therapy sessions Deliver crisis intervention and support services as needed Maintain consistent engagement with patients throughout their treatment Manage an assigned caseload and provide comprehensive case management Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director/Supervisor, addiction medicine providers, and support staff Ensure compliance with all OASAS regulations and internal program protocols Document clinical services and client progress accurately and timely manner
Requirements:

Credential or license as a CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or working under a limited permit or internship with appropriate supervision Strong understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based, interdisciplinary environment Must have Substance Use Disorder experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
