As a Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor in our Detox, Residential, and PHP treatment center, you will assist the Clinical Director with program administration and the management of all clinical functions of the facility and treatment services. We're looking for a professional with a player-coach mentality. This could be someone with prior clinical leadership experience or someone who sees this role as the next step in their career.
The Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in managing all clinical functions related to our dual diagnosis treatment facility and services. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, possesses knowledge of the organization, and ensures activities within the facility are in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations. We are seeking a candidate who will collaborate to contribute to our organization's growth. Specific duties include:
Assist the Clinical Director in direct supervision of all operations and functions of the Clinical Program within the company.
Administrative responsibilities including auditing charts and ensuring compliance with insurance and company standards.
Oversee clinical skills planning including the setting of short- and long-term goals for the clinical program, safety of staff and clients, record maintenance and effective therapeutic treatment of clients.
Assist in the development and revision of clinical skills policies and procedures as needed.
Ensure compliance with state licensing standards and Joint Commission.
Assist in overseeing the department's compliance with legal policies, guidelines and standards.
Interpret policy and procedures to staff and clients as needed to ensure their compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as accrediting agencies.
Ensures clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements.
Assist in staff development and training activities including the clinical orientation of new employees.
Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
Demonstrates knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately.
Maintains an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern.
Manages group schedules as well as facilitate groups.
Displays ability to direct and supervise Program activities.
If needed, carries a caseload of clients.
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
Performs other tasks, as assigned.
Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a clinician in the substance abuse disorder treatment field is required.
Prior leadership experience is preferred, such as experience as a lead clinician or someone with management experience from another industry.
Masters level clinical licensure in New Hampshire is required (see below).
Licensure Required for Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor:
Masters level clinical licensure in New Hampshire is required; We prefer a Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC), but alternatively can be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC).
Those who are a Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCS) in New Hampshire are welcome to apply, but this is not at all required for the position.
Candidates with only a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) level of license are encouraged to apply to our non-senior level clinician opening.
Schedule:
Day shift, with flexibility required as needed. This person will rotate being on-call with our Clinical Director.
Pay:
Salary between $75,000 and $100,000 a year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.
