About the Opportunity
Edmonds Cofield Preparatory Academy for Young Men (ECPA) is seeking a passionate, mission?driven
to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who believes deeply in the brilliance and potential of all young men, is committed to equity, and is eager to foster academic success, social?emotional growth, and innovative learning in an amazing, yet historically underserved, urban community.
In ECPA's founding years, many of our brothers - our founding year scholars and future leaders - are still learning how to be students and how to own their growth. They are developing self?leadership skills such as organization, focus, advocacy, and perseverance, while also learning school routines. The Student Success Coach provides the structure, academic reinforcement, and personal coaching they need to grow from adult-directed structure and support to self?leadership, accountability, and autonomy.
While the Dean of Academics drives rigor and the Dean of Students ensures structure and culture, the Student Success Coach helps support that work and bridges the two -- Academics and Culture - ensuring that learning, mindset, and behavior align toward growth and excellence. This hybrid role combines academic intervention, innovation facilitation, and success coaching to ensure that every ECPA brother grows both the mindset and skillset needed to thrive.
This role is ideal for an educator who is reflective, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a founding school community that embodies ECPA's pillars of
Brotherhood, Leadership, and Global Innovation.
