Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the Student Life department!

Summary of Responsibilities

-------------------------------


Design and create digital and print materials (primarily advertisements) for the office of Student Leadership and Involvement Coordinate assigned publication from conception to final product. Design original projects that meet client specifications and promote a positive image of the department. Generate artistically creative designs using Adobe Creative Suite. Inspect projects to suggest improvements and adherence to UVU graphic standards and avoid copyright infringement.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

Must be a current UVU student. Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process. Skill in computers and computer applications, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. Skill in graphic design, page layout, and photo manipulation.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with After Effects.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Knowledge of computer programs and applications and ability to create a variety of printed materials. Skilled in advertisements for events, campaigns, and projects. Skilled in basic marketing strategies. Ability to design and create printed materials. Ability to follow through from conception to completion of multiple design jobs with little supervision. Ability to communicate with clients regarding specifications of projects.
