Position Summary
As a website copywriter, you will craft clear and compelling online content to support various websites. You'll play a key role in editing, refreshing, and organizing web content to improve user experience and maintain brand consistency. This position requires strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This part-time position typically works (Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm). This position is a (remote, hybrid, on-site) position.

Essential functions:
Edit and repurpose existing content for websites
Write original, accessible web copy including headlines, CTAs, and microcopy
Collaborate with the lifecycle marketing manager to plan and produce content
Present creative content concepts to internal clients
Coordinate with communication teams, web developers, and operations managers to draft, review, and publish web pages
Maintain brand and style guidelines across all content
Minimum qualifications:
Experience writing clear, concise web copy (e.g., landing pages, blog articles, CTAs)
Strong editing and proofreading skills
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and stay current with web trends and best practices
Experience using CMS platforms like WordPress, Brightspot, or similar
Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently
Additional qualifications:
Familiarity with SEO best practices
Basic understanding of user-centered web design principles
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (a plus, but not needed)
Students pursuing Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or Web Design preferred.
