New Wave Communications Inc is seeking an experienced
Structured Cabling Technician
to join our growing team in Salisbury, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured cabling systems and the ability to work independently while maintaining high industry standards.Responsibilities
Install, route, and secure telecom and data cabling (copper and fiber) Terminate and label cables, outlets, patch panels, and racks Test and troubleshoot cabling systems to ensure proper performance Read and follow work orders, diagrams, and building plans Maintain, repair, and upgrade existing cabling systems Follow all safety procedures and industry standards Document completed work and report issues to supervisors
Requirements
Minimum 2
years of experience
as a telecom or data cabling technician Must be able to pass background check Strong knowledge of copper and fiber cabling systems Ability to read technical drawings and building plans Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)Compensation
