job summary:
A Leader in steel building solutions is looking for their next Structural Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity located in White Hall AR. This person will use engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination, structural design services and models for customer orders. This person must have 3-4 years of structural design experience. The ideal candidate will have engineering experience with any of the following, pre-engineering metal buildings, commercial, large structures or bridges.

This position offers relocation assistance and hybrid schedule of anywhere 2-3 days working from home after training is complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil, Architectural or Structural design

• 3-4 years of structural design experience

• PC competence (Including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

• Provides well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer\'s requirements.

• Assures building\'s structural integrity and safety

• Develops own advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledge

• Focuses on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high performance work team

• Assures customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules

• Collaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient manner

• Provides technical assistance to customers on specific projects as well as to new entry level Designers

• Develops structural quotes
