We are seeking a Structural Engineer (Bridge Design Engineer) to join our team! As a Structural Engineer, work will include bridge and freeway structures design and inspection.
Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Design and production of construction documents
- Supervision of junior engineers
- Go out into the field as needed to observe the construction and ensure the drawings are being followed appropriately
- Manage subconsultants for projects in the Pacific and the State of Hawaii
- Maintain excellent records on progress and projects handled
- Bachelors or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering desired with two to five years of structural design experience in bridge design and/or other types of infrastructure design
- Must hold current Hawaii Structural license or be willing to obtain
- Must have a working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD design guide
- Must have a working knowledge of CSIBridge, SAP, RISA, and AutoCAD at a minimum
- Must be willing to work on all types of infrastructure design projects
- The ability to work well both independently and within a team
