Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of thrust reversers (the braking system on a jet engine), engine nacelle components and specialized aerostructures. It supplies and supports these products for engine makers, airplane manufacturers and aircraft operators. Located on Maryland\'s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, MRAS has a 1.7-million sq. ft. facility situated on 180 acres \xe2\x80\x93 where the company and its predecessors have designed, built and equipped civil and military aircraft for over 90 years. In 2019, MRAS was acquired by ST Engineering North America, the U.S. affiliate of Singapore-based ST Engineering \xe2\x80\x93 becoming a part of its global network of aerospace facilities and offices.

Summary:

Develop and implement effective communications and marketing materials for internal/external events and key stakeholders. Write and optimize content for the website, intranet, digital and print newsletters, publications and social networking sites. Ensure consistency in terms of branding, messaging, and frequency for posting via digital and print channels.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic responsibility and multi-directional communications that align with organizational policy and culture

• Create, coordinate, and execute communication plans to increase internal and external awareness of company business

• Write content for both print and Web including the company website, blog, brochures, newsletter and implement a communications strategy

• Generate and monitor the company\'s social media platforms while maintaining a strong online presence

• Organize and direct events, coordinating with Facilities, HR and other related functions

• Partner with corporate communications on branding guidelines and special projects including local content for global business publications

• Responsible for communicating company information (training requirements, quality, events, business specific content) to all employee utilizing a centralized electronic mailbox

• Liaison with external marketing vendor, internal business development leader, and human resources team for content development and publication

• Maintain digital communication system (electronic message boards)

• Assist Operations in cascading daily, weekly, monthly information across all shifts

• Identify effective communication platforms to meet multi-media needs

• Assist with the preparation and execution of sitewide quarterly All-Hands meetings

• Manage the monthly newsletter development and publication

• Recommend internal signage/banners to ensure awareness of all site programs and special initiative.

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in marketing / communications or relevant field from an accredited university or college

\xc2\xb7 Technical ability to create and manage intranet content

\xc2\xb7 Operational knowledge and understanding of basic audio & visual equipment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work onsite Monday - Friday, first shift. Minimal scheduling flexibility for special events

Desired Characteristics:

• Master\'s degree in relevant field preferred
