to support our MRO operations and production teams.
Position Summary
The
Store Associate
(Warehouse Associate) plays a critical role in supporting Avocet's heavy maintenance operations by receiving, storing, tracking, and issuing aircraft parts, tooling, consumables, and equipment. This position ensures inventory accuracy, material traceability, and timely support to hangar production while maintaining compliance with FAA and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Receive, inspect, and process incoming aircraft parts, tooling, and materials in accordance with FAA Part 145 and company procedures
Verify part numbers, quantities, documentation, and certification, support Quality Control with incoming inspections
Accurately perform material transactions in the ERP system (receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments)
Store materials in assigned locations ensuring proper identification, traceability, and shelf-life control
Pick, kit, and issue materials to support hangar production, work orders, and maintenance schedules
Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the facility and to/from delivery vehicles
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of warehouse, stockroom, or stores experience
Aviation MRO experience preferred
Mid-level purchasing or material planning experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience preferred
Forklift operation experience required; certification required or obtainable
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
