The Storeroom Attendant works onsite at a customer facility and is responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counting, and maintaining inventory of tools, materials, goods, and equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused storeroom environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Unload, receive, and put away incoming products, tools, materials, and equipment.
Inspect incoming goods for damage and verify accuracy against invoices or packing slips.
Sort, label, move, and store items appropriately on racks, shelves, bins, or crib storage systems.
Issue tools, equipment, and materials to employees and track returns accurately.
Maintain accurate inventory records in computerized systems; assist with retrieving stock information as needed.
Document inventory discrepancies and follow corrective processes under management guidance.
Initiate requisitions to replenish inventory and maintain required stock levels.
Perform cycle counts and prepare inventory reports.
Inspect tools and equipment for defects, wear, or damage and report issues to supervisors.
Deliver tools or equipment to work locations as needed.
Locate lost or misplaced inventory through research and investigation.
Lubricate, service, or lightly maintain tools and equipment when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional storeroom environment.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Must be a
US Citizen

Must present:
US passport OR birth certificate (raised seal)

background check results on Day 1
.
Client-specific background screening required.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum
3+ months
of warehouse, storeroom, or inventory experience.
Experience with loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, procedures, and manuals.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office preferred; Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 a plus).
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; rate/ratio/percent helpful).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
